Valentines? Some people love it, Some people hate it. For me I'm a massive lover of all things heart shaped & rose petals.

Valentine's Day is all about expressing your love for each other whether its your partner or close friend. Any excuse to spoil each other if you ask me!

Me & My Partner Rocco, Don't really need a occasion to spoil each other we do it all year round, even though we keep telling each other to stop, as we are trying to save for a mortgage. We just can't help ourselves. As we are stuck in lockdown we tried to just get more sentimental gifts & yummy treat foods. we overloaded on cheese, salami & Venchi Chocolates. when I say overloaded the scales are currently telling me I've gained the 15 pounds that I've lost since the new year, fingers crossed they are broke but I hate to admit, They are not! I blame My mum for giving birth to me just a few days before Valentines, meaning my cheat week turns into a cheat month.

There are two ways to celebrate Valentines during lockdown, There is the go to, which is a take away! (we had already had two this week so we opted for option 2) Bring the restaurant, home to you! We created a little 3 course menu with all our favourites, few candles & petals. It was perfect! very Romantic, but next year we will be back to drowning in Prosecco at a bottomless in central, trying to work out how to get home when we miss the last train home in our drunken state. This won't be the first or last time this has happened to us.

Time for dessert, I have a HUGE sweet tooth. I always save room for dessert specially if its covered in chocolate, then it has my name all over it! I received this waffle maker for my birthday last week, I couldn't wait to try it out. This is my third waffle maker, yes I know what you are thinking, it's a completely random thing to collect. I have a slight obsession with hoarding all kitchen appliances with nowhere to store them, but that doesn't stop me.

We finished the evening watching Notting Hill because my boyfriend still couldn't believe that I hadn't seen it. I'm a lover of romantic comedies so I obviously cried like I do to nearly every film, he thinks I've lived a sheltered life when it comes to films. Anything before 2000, you can bet I haven't seen it, so we've been ticking them off one by one during lockdown.

I'm going to come out of lockdown a movie buff!
